Hi all

I have developed a wander in the steering which is more prominent at 60ish on dual carriage ways, took it into an independent L/R specialist today and they have told me it's play in the u/v joint that you can just see to the left of the engine..........is this something that could just fail and be potentially dangerous?

UJ's are either in good working order, or f****d. There is no in-between. Shouldnt be expensive to fix ( prop shaft UJ's are are about £12, so cant inmagine the steering one to be much more?) I know only too well how a wandering disco feels, it will only be money well spent!

Defo going to have it done.....along with my LOUD wheel bearing but he can't get it in till next week and I still need it so was just hoping it'll last out.
