Hi All

I wish to retrofit the remote audio controls on the steering wheel but cannot find any on ebay.

Does anyone know if one from another Rover would fit and if anyone else has done it, was it easy and straight forward?

I've got an Alpine headunit so also need an adapter.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mark,
Done the other side - fitted CC paddles from a Rover 400. (had the same problem finding originals - nearly a year later before a set came up - all done by then.)
It worked like this; Switches and cabling from rover is identical, just plugs in under air bag :)
Switch cover that fits between paddles and cowel on wheel are different shape - but the rover ones are large enough to be cut back carefully wiv a stanley knife to mate with the FL cowel. :)
Down side - the metal bracket that the padddles mount onto does not line up wiv the holes in the boss under the FL air bag (holes are miles out and mounting angle is completely wrong) :(
But wiv a piece of cardboard and some careful bending you can sort out the bracket shape needed and fabricate one fron a bit of 1mm sheet metal that does the job :)
There's piccy's of the cutting required on the radio switches and the bracket I made for the CC switches.
From what I remember the RH bracket and LH brackets were mirrors of each other so the pics may help? (I already had the radio switches as std.)
