Hi All

hope I'm not flogging the proverbial horse here, but looking to fit a steering guard to my 91 Classic.

I think, on price, I've narrowed it down to one of these two but open to suggestions:

JC736 - Steering Guard Range Rover Classic and Discovery 1 RHD/LHD with Jacking Points and Recovery Eyes

PM610 | Steering Guard - Galvanised Steel with hi lift jacking points and towing rings

(just waiting on confirmation that the johncraddock one is steel)

also spotted this, but concerned it might be too fragile?

3 Piece Steering Guard - Discovery 1 Classic Rover Rover

Any advice gratefully received.
Cheers

It's like anything, "you get what you pay for"
Personally I would spend more and get one with a proper 'frame' that sits behind the 'skid plate' to make it more solid.
The cheap ones in my experience aren't overly strong and tend to bend alot more easily and then look utter cack.

Thanks Rob. Sounds like sage advice. Don't want to spend ridiculous amounts but figure if I go with steel rather than aluminium, should be able to handle a bit more abuse.
