When driving at high speeds, the slightest turn of the steering wheel makes the car turn sharply and feel frankly quite unstable

Even when driving at slower speeds, something just feels wrong... almost like the steering is too light, which I know sounds a bit vague

I recently got the air suspension changed out for springs but that was at the back and this issue definitely feels at the front if that makes sense

Any ideas for what to look at?

What's this wee hook that's unhooked?

Is this off the air suspension that's now been replaced by the coils?

It makes sense... it's the vehicle's revenge cos you bastardised it

on a serious note: lift up the front and check for play in the wheels by grabbing them at 12 - 6 and 3 - 9 o'clock and if it is you'll have to figure out why: hub, steering knuckle ball joints, track rod ends, etc

No, I never "bastardised" it

I have had it for less than a year and spent 2k on it

Theres every chance it would be scrapped if it had another owner!

Thanks for the advice, will check it out!

So, you should be thankful that someone like me has it and keeps another one on the road
I'm thankfull to anybody who keeps a high spec D2 on the road with all it's enhancements as it let the factory which makes the D2 special IMO. Consider me a militant for the rights of well enhanced D2s which have the right to keep theyr's ''balls'' not to be ''castrated" :)

well then you are pretty ignorant

Not everyone can afford to keep ploughing hundreds of pounds into it

Maybe you're best sticking to quoting textbooks and leaving it at that

well then you are pretty ignorant....
Are you sure? no need to be rude though cos i kept it civilised in anecdotal manner... dont expect my help when you'll have electrical issues from now. With your attitude maybe when something electrical will not let your engine run you'll cut out the footwell and drive it like Flintstones.

which means i've studied them all page by page if i knew what to quote... who's the ignorant now ?
