while my landy was on props i noticed if i turn my wheels to the drivers left they turn fair easy but then going the opposite way they are noticabley harder to turn,is this down to the steering damper or something else,or is it just normal, new damper hasnt been on long,:)

The feel of the damper should be exactly the same turning left or right, an unbalanced resistance could be potentially unsafe. This is the main difference in design spec over a suspension damper (they should be heavier in extension than compression).

i wanted a rtc damper, but couldnt afford at the mo so got a britpart cellular dynamic steering damper, thought it wasnt right on the steering, wonder if something else is causing it to do this, thanks for the reply,i will look into it

disconnect one end and see if you still have the same problem.
well the mad hat man,i cheked like you said, took the new ****part damper off and the wheels turn fine,so it is the new damper,av bludy thrown the box away too...looks like more expense, might get a terrafirma rtc one and see how that is...thanks again for the advice:)
