Bought a steering damper from island4x4 , Terrafirma branded.
Surprised to see that it came with painted even the mounting bushes and made in Thailand.
see the pictures.

Cost/benefit analysis often means manufacturing elsewhere than UK is very well worth it, especially if it's an already produced part or assembly and only needs a paint job or maybe a different sticker putting on.

I fitted one of them ,a month ago ,And yes it came with a sticker you put on to it yourself....do not think its gas though Didnt make a lot o difference, but steering does feel smoother ..And its bigger than standard round n touches the plastic under tray..which will soon rub the silver paint off .:(..;)

No undertray on early diesels, not the bottom models anyway.

Okay to manufacture anywhere but painting the rubber bush at each end, makes me think it's not genuine.

don't fit it, just get an original one Armstrong or something. I fitted the Terrafirma, it didn't look like yours and it only lasted a couple of years before it was an MOT advisory.

I wouldn't know what genuine Terrafirma should look like ... but I'd state categorically that the bushes are not genuine Landrover .. ;)
