hi guys been a while, hope you are all good.
Anyhow onto my problem, I had the dreaded reach motor problem, the worm drive sheered off in the motor, any how it was clicking when opening the car, and the reach movement didn’t work on the handle. Anyhow I removed the column yesterday, replacement worm drive, bracket and reach motor. Greased it all up, refitted it, then disabled steering wheel movement on entry. Anyhow this is where the problem starts, if the car has been and gone into sleep mode I’m still getting the clicking noise from the column, there is no steering wheel movement and the clicking stops after around 10sec, if the car is already awake it’s fine. Both wheel adjustments work fine. Any ideas what it could be?
