steering box tie arm

Been freeing all nuts/bolts associated with fitting my new box that should be here next week. My question is I removed the tie bar from the box then undid the but holding it through the drop arm i think it is called and found hole through which the threaded part of the arm runs is about an inch in diameter.should there be a bush in here to support that part of the bar.

no ,the holes big so that you dont stress box with tie bar once tigthened

nip up both bolts and nut before tightening any on the tie bar when refitting
