Steering Box Output Shaft

Hi Folks,

Just had my MOT and the old girl passed!

It did have an advisory for a weep from the steering box output shaft seal. Not having had a look yet but how hard are these to fit?

Do I have to take off the impossible to remove drop arm and then prise the seal out? Or is it an easier job?

Will have a look in the morning but any pointers as to what I should be looking for will help.

hard bit is the drop arm, once off you remove dirt seal the circlip ,place a container underneath and switch engine on, if you move steering wheel it will blow old seal out fit new stc2848

Thanks for that James. I will get a seal on the way before I try to get the drop arm off!
