steering box disco 2

im gunna have to bite the bullet and get a new one fitted. It had a seal kit by the previous owner only a year ago but it leaking again. Plus its bugging me pulling to the left where i think they didnt set it up properly. Ive seen the paddock prices and im gunna have to get a garage to fit it. What price do you think i should be looking at

There could be other reasons for it pulling to the left... there should be a set distance between the ball joint centres of the drag link... then the tracking should be checked and that should stop the pull.

But hey a new box and the "pro's" to fit it should solve your problem... I have no idea how much it will cost to fit, but I'd guess something like 2+ hours (it'd probably take me all day).

But if I was you... I'd still have a go at doing it myself and call in help if I got stuck anywhere... it's much cheaper and quite satisfying knowing you've saved all that dosh!
