steering angle sensor l322 2004

Had to fit a new steering column. Old was totally broken. Bought it like that. Changed the column and carefully moved old sas over to new one. Got aabs,hdc,triangle and air susp inactive. Local l r dealer can`program or reset it. Is it possible that i could fit the sas in a wrong way? Is it a certain angle the sas should be mounted in? F.ex steering wheel straight and sensor housing straight to steering wheel? thankful for all answers that could help me.

Have you done the lock to lock reset?

If you have and still have the warnings - you may need diagnostics to reset it.

I think the SAS is keyed and can only go on, one way round. They are quite delicate, so aslong as you were careful with it, it should be OK.
