Don’t forget these are for fun and tinkering and thankfully not the daily. My daily is about to be bought roof bars so I can go and pick up fencing. Love breaking out concrete bases

Mine is on the verge of becoming my daily again, I had enough of this house bashing sheeet, these twunts amaze me at their ability to get socks on (can't vouch for whether or not they're matching though!!!), time for a change very soon.

I really want to make mine suitable for a daily. I hanker after another panzer but the idea of having this and maybe a little spare appeals to me at the moment. I just don’t know if I can get this to that level?!

I’ve a contact for disco bits right down south west - the locals keep letting me down. I think once I’ve gone and met him etc I may get an engine off him in the summer once d1 is on road. Love building up and engine and putting a fresh one in a Resto is a nice idea isn’t it!

Stop it!!! I can get one for a good price so definitely a summer thing. Will be coming to you for trusted machine shops though!!

This touch lock on my IPhone is no good for a landy owner. My thumbprint is different everyday lol

I took a trip to Cornwall to a disco breaker on sat. A mission but a nice guy and successful buys!!

@dieseldog69 i know you said you had a bulkhead I could buy - feel free to sell elsewhere as managed to grab one from a commercial with the footwell extension thing on. I’m a sucker for little extras and liked that!

@dieseldog69 i ordered the extended braided lines - went terrafirma/good ridge as didn’t fancy britpart brakes. I don’t suppose you remember union size for the rear flexi do you? I.e solid line to flexi? I’M putting a fresh line in and obviously need that before I can make the nipples

Ahhh.... looks like the pedals are coming out.... and the windscreen.

plans are changing for this truck. I’ve spent far too much time and money on it for it to be chucked around. It’s looking like she will be my daily once done. I might buy a little shopping cart as a spare for when I want to work on this but fcuk me it’s relentless the extent I’m now having to go to!!

I had a feeling, especially after seeing how crap the windscreen corners are, that I’d have water trails and as such rust.
I removed the crash/steering bar frame and revealed it.
I’ve got to see the plus side. I’m covering every inch of the car!
No way am I messing about patching this side though. I’m going to chop the lot off from the a pillar and fit a whole new section in. Also going to open up the a pillar and clean it all up inside.
To do the bulkhead, the pedals need disconnecting and the plate pulling out of the way. I pulled and binned the sound deadening up to the blowers. It was wringing wet
