Well now that's been done I guess I won't bother :(

Radius arms will be fun, got mine to do as well, I've been under there with the wire wheel and cleaned up the threads and doused everything in WD40, you should also have bushes in there for the panhard rod too, just in case you get bored ;)

Brushed and soaked them earlier mate and cleaned and painted chassis up to them. What I couldn’t work out which I saw earlier is, I have the flat of the floor pan panel which everyone puddle welds down to the box, then a have angle plate on inside of the sill that you weld to the sill and butt up to the floor pan. It looks like my dead floor reinforcing bracket has then been welded to this sheet. That seems totally wrong to me!! Do I have to have the angles sheet on inside of sill? Im thinking of just sticking angle iron to the inside of the box and drape one sheet over?

Day on the fender today. I condemned the bulkhead unfortunately so parts will be for sale. All yrm bits. I thought it was rescue-able but as soon as I nipped a bit of metal off the boxed up area it became clear that there wasn’t a prayer. The truck deserves better than a ratty bulkhead anyway. Chassis doesn’t look anyway near as bad as mine. Took all tub holding bolts out just need to under seat belt anchors and I’ll lift it off with the tractor. Glad to be off that bulkhead!

Went on a mission to get stuff clean and tidy. The dash was covered in mould, seats were in my way and I need to start on the floor soon. I got my other alpine window surround done and primed and seam sealed. The window seal isn’t coming out any time soon lol. Found a few holes and a beige dash. The seats aren’t awfully bad and are free to a good home. I scrubbed at the dash and love the beige. Can’t wait to do the interior up a bit!

What did yu use on the dash?

Hoovered what I could then used ag interior shampoo and a nail brush. Then sealed it with ag vinyl care. It came up really nicely. I have my eye on some seats locally - I’ve a even people on here saying td5 seats are too wide - I don’t see how they can be? I’m looking to by some out a Volvo estate.

Sorry autoglym.

Centre switch panel was glued to centre console as front of panel had detached and some ****er couldn’t be arsed to unscrew so glued and made a right mess
Cubby box also broken so centre console shifted. Spare tile from bathroom came in handy lol
