trying to take the spare wheel off my defender to fit a swing away and I've run into an issue, the previous owner has cleared out everything including the locking wheel but key! A quick gander online suggests it is a standard Landrover locking nut for steel wheels but I don't know which code (STC3420 A etc). I've attached a pic, can someone pm me the code/letter

Cheers

Mark

If you have something like this (might need a hammer or bar to get some leverage), it'll undo it as easily as a socket does.

Yeah the pic is from the drivers front, it's a standard set of 5, was just getter by the spare off that caused me to notice (the rest are capped)

'Carefully' grolly it off with a set of pipe pliers (like above), then take the nut to a LR dealer or indie and they should be able to identify which key you need.
