Stearing wobble

I have an intermittent steering wobble at around 50mph and sometimes 70mph ?
I can go a few days without it happening, only does it in a straight line ?
I had a similar thing years ago on a Vauxhall Cavalier and it was a CV joint on its way out.

Any Ideas??

50mph to 70mph sounds like a wheel balance issue to me.

had that on mine ..
t'were wheel nuts not being torqued up to spec.
check nut torque .. tyres cold .. wheel on ground ( i.e. not jacked up )
haynes states : 115 nm / 85 ft.lbs
