So.
Having avoided the catastrophe of dropping coolant all over the road (it dropped it on my drive - how lucky was I) I changed the top hose.
refilled etc and run up and its watertight.
STEAM everywhere part 2 thread was because she would not move above "cool" on the temp gauge and I was advised to remove the temp sensor and check for an airlock
I did this and refilled again and got another litre in, Took out the bleed screw and topped it right up.
She still won't move above cool on the temp gauge.
Just been on a 30 mile school run up the A19 and back.
Should I be worried??
