:(
broke down on the m6 last saturday, got chucked from lane 1 to lane 3, luckly it was at night, limped it to safer place and had it recovered, took over 8hrs to get it home

anyway, jacked it up and wheel bearing has died, and its took the stub axle with it :(

the inner bearing is welded to the stub, i managed to get this off with some cutting

then this with some more but the stub looks dead

from the damage on the underside of the bit i cut off it looks like the bearing has spun

ahh well , i washed all the bits

Yup, dishwashers make great parts washers....
Suprised you didn't put the disc and hub in with the plates, crockery etc,.
I do.

And it doesn't affect me at all all all all.....

so today i started on the interior refit
first job was getting to work binning this

then when i needed a break from sitting in inside i made a new cubby/radio holder, it's done for now and blacked, just need to go to be trimmed

not really, a sheet of mdf, some scrap ply, jigsaw and a box of screws
I only had to make a new one as the Scooby seats made the old one too low

Im considering scrapping my middle seat for a cubby box and as mine has no radio in it at the moment I think i like the idea of the radio going in front of the cubby box more than the small console above the 12v socket.
