Hello all...
I have a Discovery 02 TD5 ES Premium with the roof mounted DVD player. It wasn't working when I got the car but have now got it playing DVD etc through the headphones.
The audio does not come of the stereo / nav unit - after a bit of fault finding the connection box had been removed by a previous owner.
The LR part number is 61954 - it's obsolete and no one has any old stock
If anyone out there has one they'd like to sell - LH price is £ 97.00 or if you are breaking an adventure with one fitted please get in touch.
LR describe the unit as 'CD autochanger microswitch'. Its not a microswitch by my standards - it joins the audio out from the DVD system in to the CD stacker so you can have both. The box is mounted on the LHS of the drivers fuse box.
If anyone knows what's inside it - I am happy to have a go at making my own too.
