Starting

I have just bought a Dicovery1 200tdi 1993 , it has starting problems, there are no side or head lights, the horn / radio / window winders / interior lights do not work, the imobiliser seems to work as whem i operate it i do get ignition lights when i turn the key, but on a full turn of the key i only get a clicking from the starter relay, i have replaced the starter motor, i have wired it direct to a push botton to start it, but can only drive in the daylight, can any one help me please, thank you.
