Starting problem!!!

Just done a 200 conversion. Was all starting and running fine, I touched the wires behind the lights on ye drivers side, now it won't start? Doesn't like like anything is loose. I've checked starter and earth, it will start if you put a cable across the starter. Any ideas?

Also now if I turn the inside light on the fuel gauge goes right up fuel light comes on and the glow plug light as well

Haha only gone and fixed it haven't I. The negative lead from the battery went to the side on the transfer box for some reason (like this when I bought it) banged that on the chassi and away she went
