have been having starting probs with my dse and been reading all relevant threads and was suspecting the worst...fuel pump(tank),fuel pump (engine) bleed back pipes etc,etc,etc....but have cured problem by changing glow plugs and this cured it straight away.so guys... dont always think the worst, try the simple things first, you may be pleasently surprised....like i was:):D

now only two other problems to solve...hevac unit playing up and transmission not going into low box....had my mate plug it into rovacom and it threw up two pages of hevac faults,so work starts again in ernest :confused::(
oh the joys of land rover ownership

Clear the HeVAC faults and then go back after a wekk of driving and see what faults you have re-occur. When I plugged a rovacom into my HeVAC unit I got tonnes of previous faults that had all been sorted but never cleared.

The low range problem will most likely be the motor on the transfer box underneath.

My hi-lo box was stuck in lo, put 12v to the motor & it worked & changed back to hi, then I looked inside the gearbox ECU & it was fried, About £150 for a new one.
