Went to the garage this morning to fill up on gas - turned the car off outside the gates (waiting for them to open) - went to start her up and nothing - engine light on all electrics on but wouldn't start...
Matr came out (with trailer) to help/recover me - quick short of the starter solenoid whilst I turn the key and she fired up - drove her to me mates yard and we took the starter off his 4.2 Landy and put it on mine - up she fired on the key - 3hours and I am back on the road...
Tried to start her this afternoon and she is veery sluggish to start - got 13.8v on the battery - so a tad worried now...
I did love my mates yard - we had a choice of about 6 Land Rover starters to choose from - but he gave me the one off his motor - cos he was sure that one worked
Still got water coming into the passenger footwell - but that is going to be his job whilst I am away on holiday - dash out - new blend motors - heater matrix o rings and clearing the air con drain pipe
