Starter motor removal

Series 3 2.25 petrol or diesel?
I have removed mine quite a few times so step by step.
1) Remove the bottom nut, spring washer and earth strap from underneath the landy.
2) Remove the three bolts from the manifold heatshield and remove the heatshield from the vehicle.
3) remove the nut and starter supply lead from the forward facing end of the starter motor.
4) remove the top nut and spring washer from the starter motor.
5) disconnect the throttle rod from the bulkhead mounted cross shaft. give the motor a tap so it works loose, withdraw it from the bell housing and turn it so it comes out drive end first. Be careful of the clutch hydraulic pipe that runs quite close to the motor.
You should then be able to draw it out from behind the engine.
