starter motor fuse

can anyone help i have 2000 1.8 petrol freelander i have a problem with the electrics the starter motor fuse in the engine bey keeps blowing i have now found out it only blows after the engine is running and has been running for a short while i have had a look at the wiring and can see nothing obvious so if anyone has come across this any advice would be grateful

check the small wire that goes to the starter is making a good contact and also check all earth points.

sounds like a trapped wire somewhere.
