I dont use any garages or mechanics anymore ;) especially for my landys!

better to do it all yourself, you avaoid getting ripped off and you get it done right- and if you dont there are no bull****e excuses, just yourself to blame!

Just on the l322 you can't do everything without a damm diagnostics pc !

yes i am all for that but a clutch on a range rover is not a one man job,i have noone daft enough to let me drop the gearbox on them lol
 
By 'posting' to this forum, albeit available only to subscribers, you can still be liable for making defamatory comments. By submitting details of garages/workshops of whom you have direct personal experience and can evidence the substance of your remarks to ensure thay are fact-based comment, then you should be fine in much the same way as people can review hotels etc on Trip Advisor.

The problem comes as soon as you step outside those strict guidelines and someone starts posting more general, disparaging remarks that are more opinionated rather than factual.
 
how far did it get?

There is a thread on here somewhere where member's can post their good experiences with garages, general consensus if I recall correctly was that slagging them off on a public forum could lead to all sorts of "legal" problems.

yes i have the facts, receipts and unfortunately hearsay, wouldn't pin it on an individual just the name of the garage.
