Hi

Oh what a morning, help!! I filled my landy up ready to go lock t then went back to unlock it when the stabiliser came on and just kept going off!! I tried everything switching it off switching it on nothing!!

My landy is a 2.5 tdi auto L reg and im wondering what could i do, is it the key fob? or is the a fuse I can take out to deactivate it for now? is it a electrical fault?

any suggestions would be great

thanks:confused:

No its the the stabiliser that prevents people driving of with your landy, it triggers a alarm which is loud enough to wake the whole street up and it wont let you start the landy while the stabiliser is on!!

If its the immobiliser you can start the vehicle using the emergency key access code that was supplied with the vehicle.
All the instrcutions for that are contained within the owners handbook

Thanks but we aint got the manual, can anyone help as to where we will find it thanks, oh sorry it was left to the mrs to write the thread and i am hopeless with names so thanks bigeeeee

This is from the Discovery II but I believe its the same for earlier models
I take it you have your emergency key access code.

Don't want to start a war here,

but

Don't know if you're taking the right tack here with your quote, had you done a little bit of homework in the form of a search you would have found the answer you were looking for, just thought I'd help and post the same replies that have been done before.
Had you also a owners handbook for your car it would also have told you.
Had you used the forum properly for research and such like you would have come across RAVE or green oval - from here you would have found your own answers. (try a search)
I appreciate its a learning curve but like everything else in life get the basics right and the rest is easy peasy.
Have a good day and mind your tone young man, I take it your PC is close to the kitchen if your wife was using it otherwise I would consider shortening the chain/rope as she might escape.
regards
