What does it mean if the light is flashing sometimes but then static other times I have checked all the connections and they look and feel ok any help

I think lamp flashing means the second bulb has gone....

On the P38, there are 2 bulbs (for redundancy), if one goes I think the other flashes....but I could be wrong

Might depend on what car the OP is talking about
