Evening all I'm trying to sell my P38 and people are afraid of buying due to the SRS light being on.

So I have a question which is can anyone do the fault reset on it near me or would it be a simple 2 minute for a garage with the software.

If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated and repaid in brew and biscuits ;)

Thanks Danny I'm in catterick in North Yorkshire

It's a 2 minute job for a garage (providing the fault isn't something that needs fixing).

I've sent you a PM.

Thanks jack every much appreciated for the offer. I'm going to ring up a garage or 2 today and see if they can do it it will save us both a small trip then. I will let you know thanks again Danny.

If it has side airbags, check the under seat connectors, if it's that the fault will clear on it's own if you fix the bad connection.

Can you tell me which ones they are it's a 96 model. I really think it was because the battery was changed with it being flat or I hope it's as simple as that.

96 does not have side airbags so you can forget that, Low battery can produce a fault so you may be lucky and it will be a simple read and clear of the faults.
