Sqeeking noise when clutch is depressed 200tdi

Jumped in a friends defender before, its a 200tdi with the lt77 box, when the clutch is depressed a sqeeking noise starts, and remains until the pedal is released, i think its the clutch release bearing, what do you guys think? All suggestions appreciated.

id think so ,new clutch kit and h/d release lever and spigot bush needed

Have you checked the clutch pedal lever?

It sounds as thought there is a remote possibility that you might have a Rareitis Hamsterius Siberius problem!

Don't bother untill your clutch wears it won't do much harm live with it!

i have a similar problem and often get a grumbling noise when the missus is depressed... could it be a thrust bearing issue
