does yer tool (ooer) lock the pulley or the crank? Only if it locks the pully and the bolt goes into the crank doesn't that put a lot of stress on the woodruff key as you torque the bolt up?
It locks the pulley. So I spose it would put the stress onto the key. Can't remember now if the pulleys on a taper or what, But it worked anyhow.

I have got all my bits n pieces through and in a timing belt kit i got a tensioner. I just wondered if you could shed some light on the reason this should be changed along with the belt and gasket as that was the kits contents?

I got paddock special gaskets too so dont look that fantastic, would you use sealent of any kind and if so what kind?

The gasket is to keep ****e out of the casing so it dunt matter that much, however it's worth doing the best job you can, so yes after all that bollocks I'd use some sort of instant gasket gobbo and if push came to shove I don't reckon theres much to choose between them.
