sprung a leak!

Noticed a few times lately a puddle on my passengers side rubber mat, it was quite bad this morning after all the heavy rain and there was a drip coming from the speaker just above the footwell.........anyone any ideas where it could be coming from? Def TD5 90

I managed to fix my leak in what sounds like a similar place by replacing the gaskets between the windscreen frame bracket and the screen. I replaced the door seals at the same time and this seemed to fix it.

Was it a big job?

Nah easy you just unbolt the bolts inside the cabin and it comes off easily. The gaskets were only £1 from Rimmer bros as well

Door seal. Look at the water ingress manual and will explain all!

My Td5 is suffering the same problem, there was duck in the passenger footwell of mine yesterday morning!!
I think i will give changing the mentioned seals a go.

I have just had the same problem both footwells. I think(fingers crossed) I may have cured it. After hours and hours of detective work i was looking where the discharge pipes were for the air con unit. I discovered on the passenger side there was a gap between the carpet and trim close to the air con unit at the front of the centre console and located the drain pipe which was blocked up with gunge and all the water was going into the footwells. God knows how long for Maybe it is worth checking the drain pipes it has worked for me so far. Now to dry the carpets out!!
