I have a 110 ex military Defender which I believe still has the original springs on it. I was looking at them recently and the front ones are beginning to look a bit rusty. I'm wandering if I should replace them as I am going on a trip soon to Morocco.
I'm happy with the ride. Does anyone know if they would be standard springs on an ex military.
The ones on the back don't look too bad.

The heavy duty (or 130 standard) springs are: NRC9448-Driver, NRC9449-Passenger. Not sure which will be on the MoD, but I would suspect they are probably the heavy duty - the MoD parts list just refers to the suspension 'as basic' which just means the MoD version doesn't have specific MoD parts.

I'd give them a good look over - rusty doesn't necessarily mean knackered - and changing them is always a bit fraut once you've got the compressors on them!

He has a 110. And I got the part numbers from the military parts list.
