Springer update

Ok. So after lots of info on ere and lots on tinterweb searching
We now have our name down with the rspca,nessr,battersea dogs home

Weve decided to rehome a dog and offer it a loving family rather than buy from a stealer
Most if not all dealers we contacted seem to want to sell u a dog with as little expenditure on there part and as much profit as poss
Even the kennel club seem to only post details of breeders and then basically its then down to you to sort with the stealer and no real guidlines seem to be in place which we were very dissappinted with

We were offerd a lovelly springer/collie cross from rspca but wewernt familier with this breed and would sooner wait for the right dog to become available

It also seems if u rehome a dog it will be fully assesed be neuted, chipped, vaccinated etc

So will update once were back of hols and hopefully be owning a dog very soon

We almost had a rescue spaniel but in the end opted for a puppy to bring up from scratch around our old man Samoyed.

We had a chocolate lab / Weimaraner cross from a breeder in Altrincham. The breeder was superb and our dog is a brilliant little beast. He's just gone four months and it's the best four hundred odd quid I've ever spent.

Al gets sentimental...

It's worth giving Binfield Dog Rescue a call.

They're between Reading and Wokingham.

Had 2 dogs from them, an Alsation, and a Collie X thing... Both been brilliant dogs.
