yes very true , well said.... it will also be far cheaper to get a rescue dog , i know thats not the point , but why pay silly money to a breeder , when you can give a home to a loving dog , thats had a hard life ... rescue dog every time...
.I've been to the vets twice with one of mine only to come back with 2 because a dog was there to be put to sleep for no other reason than nobody wanted it
I could never give money to a breeder knowing how many are put down for no reason.
The dog I have now was 6 months when I got him and was on his way to a shelter because was too big and had to live on a chain on the porch :frusty:
shes now on my case , she keeps saying our other spaniel needs a friend how long do you think before she gets her own way
funny this thread has come up , my partner spotted a spaniel pup 4 months old yesterday , at second chance rescue
