hello people

I'm wanting a set of 2" lift springs for my 300 disco and I was wondering wot experiences you have had with different makes and poundage ratings please?

I've been told that terrafirma aren't as good as expected but bearmach or britpart from paddocks aren't that bad either.

There will be no winch or heavy bumper on the front for now, and the back will be normal sort of use...no roof rack or tent, not a lot of trailer work just maybe some tools and/or camping stuff in the back. It needs to perform off road but will also be my daily driver

Thanks for any advice

Cheers for that

I was told the springs go saggy before their time, how long have you had them on?

Cheers

About 3 years now and they certainly haven't gone saggy. Despite the bad reputation I've heard nothing but good feedback about Britpart springs, a few of the lads I go laning with use them on D1's and D2's and they swear by them.

Cheers for the replies

Yeah we've also used mainly britpart springs for years with good results and its wot I was going to buy but I thought I'd just ask first. It's the same old thing of getting the right balance for wot I want and do with the vehicle, they need to be ok on the road as its a daily driver but they need to be soft enough to articulate off road but then not too soft and bottoming out all the time, sure you all know wot I mean. That's also why I was thinking about the terrafirma +5 adjustable shocks to try and help get the balence right by playing around with them, even if the adjusters seize up after I've finished playing about, but I've heard no reports about them so I'm not sure.

As for being told they go saggy, it was by a person that's been working on Land Rovers and going to shows speaking to people for years, so I'm guessing some people somewhere down the line have had some not too good ones but it was not personal experience so, again, I thought I'd just ask
