i bought my d2 td5 already converted to springs,if I leave the car for a week or so it will flatten its battery and when it's switched off underneath I can hear the compressor making a noise like it's trying to sort itself out.Is there a way to get rid of this piece of scrap for good? Why is it still connected??
Iv also seen it seems to be leaking something so another reason for it to go if possible, what's involved??

Thanks chaps,no warning lights at all.all wires are still presumably connected and it's constantly trying to find itself maybe??

I would get diagnostics on it to make sure it is switched off correctly, you never know someone could have taped over the light in the dash . Disconnect the wiring and remove the compressor .

Does the warning light show during ignition start up self check ?

Cheers

Diagnostic is something I don't have access to.il check next time I ign on if it shows as I can't remember tbh.im pretty sure it hasn't been taped over as iv had the dash apart before to change bulbs.what would happen if I just disconnected it? Would it throw a light up? Would that affect anything else?
The fact it drains power annoys me greatly as I think it's a hobo way of fixing a problem.
