Hi all,
I've got a 1986 ex military 110 which I want to change the springs on. They're the originals and probably knackered anyway. It's a three door hard top standard ride height. Used mostly as a camper. Ill be adding a roof tent fairly soon. The ride is a bit harsh, I'd like to make it a bit more comfortable.
Any recommendations on which springs would suit?
Thanks

I put +2" Terrafirma springs on my 90, medium front and soft back.
TF015 (front) and TF018 (back)

The 18's are classed as 'medium' on the front and medium/light on the back and the 15's heavy on the front and medium on the rear.
I don't have the anti roll bars and don't wallow around roundabouts on road and still have enough articulation (for me) off road.
The ride feels 'solid' but not harsh, certainly much much better/more forgiving than the yellow HD springs the previous owner had fitted, which were terrible in comparison.

However, I do have a winch and I don't have a roof tent and the springs do lift the car up by a good 50mm, which may not suit you ...

Don't put +2's on if you are mounting a roof tent. Will only raise your centre of gravity and make it more roly poly.

Standard springs a good all round choice. If you are going to haul heavy loads or have weight high up, you may need to look something to reduce body roll.

These are good quality springs, a choice of rates and lengths.
