Split charging

Having just had to buy a new battery for the Disco, I then found the reciept for the old battery that was still under warrenty from Halfrauds, they dont refund just give a new battery, so now have 2 new batteries.

With the winch on the front, plus wanting extra lights, I thought maybe fit both batts and a split charge system.

Looking on ebay I cant make out what to get, so can anyone in the know do a link to a (cheap) system that will work....

Remember "cheap" in anything is just that for a reason.

This is a "basic" system that will work. Not 100% sure on the relays ability to handle the potential currents drawn during winching, but they "say" it does.

Must be running an ATV winch. Looking at the description I think you can do a better setup to achieve the same thing buying the components yourself. I haven't seen higher than 200amp continuous solenoids, but I'm sure higher capacity ones are out there. If using 200amp I'd use two in parallel if you're winching.
