the problem with the x eng and others is you cant tell if/when there workingI can vouch for that. Although that's not to say it wont work, just that its a bit expensive and that you can get it cheaper from somewhere like vehicle wiring products or automotive electrical supplies.
When I looked at the x-eng kit, I realised that I had everything from the kit already apart from the relay. I couldn't find any specific information about the relay they were selling, so I just bought a replacement relay from them (about 20 quid I think). When it turned up it I googled it and found I could have got it a few quid cheaper elsewhere.
Like many of the things I've bought for my Landy though, it remains in the garage waiting for me to fit it.
