1996 300tdi manual .. When driving along the road the speedo can give various speeds that are not correct .. Eg doing 30mph it could read 50mph but if I give the speedo cluster a tap it corrects itself ? Any ideas guys ????? Cheers

it could be something as simple as a loose wire, id whip the cluster out and have a looksy if all looks well you could open up the cluster n check the solder joints failing that a second hand set of clocks are not that expensive if you dont mind the mileage being out.

infact ignore that as ur speedo is actually working but reading wrong none of the above applies lol. id pop a different set of clocks in :S
