Speedo Stopped Working

on my '98 XEi while trying to solve the 3 Amigos problem and repairing the brakes somehow the speedo has stopped working,any ideas what I might have disturbed ?,thanks.
 
Abs ecu calculates vehicle speed from the wheel sensors and provides the signal to the instrument cluster..
 
thanks Chaser,so maybe by changing the ABS unit I've disturbed something,do you know where the ABS ecu sits under the bonnet and which wheel sensor sends the signal as I've already put a new left hand front sensor on,many thanks.

The abs ecu calculates average speed of all the wheel sensors so i guess you need to be sure they are all ok.
