Speedo Not Working

The wires on spade connectors connecting to a threaded bolt that you've seen on the passenger side of the transfer box are the switch for your reverse light. As Red says, your speedo gauge is just a cable. Try lifting the cover above your middle seat / cubby box and your drivers seat and have a better look!
