Speedo drive removal

hi how do I remove the speedo drive from the transmission on my 90? Just done the cable but the part where the cable goes into the drive is damage.

Yes it can be a right pain, I'm at the stage of considering welding some bar to it so I can actually get some leverage and in hope that the heat will loosen it up, you can also get to it from behind with a bit of disassembly ( brake drum etc)
