^^ this one, had the same thing on my series 3, quick tightening up on the output flange and it then worked. The vehicle even came with a new genuine speedo pinion because "that was the problem". it is still sat on the shelf nearly 10 years later.
Your speedo pinion is worth a fortune now as they are hard to come by.
It was apparently hard to come by when I bought the vehicle that is why it is sat on my shelf rather than having been moved on!
