Just gave her some pastie on the way home. Reached 105 but was reving its tits off felt like it was the gearbox that could do with another gear rather that the engine lack of power

I would check the MAF and the catalytic converters.

MAF is fine, I have a maintenance routine that includes cleaning it with carb cleaner and my Hawkeye gives live data readings of air mass per second which seem not to be out or norms. It also tells me timing advances from around 15 degrees to around 47 depending on revs. I know my injectors are new but the one thing I'm not able to check is fuel pressure in the rail. I mean if you press on the nipple valve it jets out but I have nothing at my disposal to get a precise reading. As for cats, this was a special export model built by Land Rover's SVU and was never equipped. I've no oil in water or water in oil and manual sniff test (ie literal sniff test) doesn't suggest a crack anywhere but I think I'll have the cylinder compressions tested for peace of mind and maybe the brake calipers and wheel bearings serviced / replaced. Actually I just remembered I've an IR temp reader somewhere so will take it for a long run and see if any of the wheels is significantly hot first. If all that fails it's probably down to the fuel quality which is quite shockingly bad around here.
*Many of you know Germany is home where I spend half the year and the other half I work in Bangladesh which is where the car lives.

Discussing maximum speed may not be wise if stating anything other than manufacturers quoted.

Also videos on youtube a bad idea unless you have your own private road or airfield.

Tut, don't be such a spoilsport, there are certain people just quietly , watching and waiting ;) :D

I think its all as it should be! just think the box should have and extra gear cos itll do 100 easy but its reving so high it cant be good for it

If it's a doozel think i am right in saying 2000 RPM in torque lockup top gear should give you around 56 MPH that's 28 MPH per 1000 RPM. 4000 RPM which is fuel cut off start under load, equates to 112 MPH. So you should see a ton at around 3500 RPM. That is hardly revving it's balls off.
