have aquired on of these for my rr 25 dse any one got one of these fitted, instructions are in german i can see you have to solder it to the ecu, do you just solder to conectors or cut wires then solder? also there are 3 pots on the box marked i ,s, t, t turns up the power ,what does the other ones do any help would be wellcome ps have tried emailing the makers but no reply

I would not recommend you solder ANYTHING inside an ECU or even touch internal circuit connections with your hands without using anti-static protection as you could end up with a blown ECU. I opened up my own ECU originally (I am an electronics eng.) having bought an 'upgrade' chip on Ebay to find it didn't match the ECU type (thereare 2 ECU options) and that my own ECU required TWO upgrade chips to be soldered in instead of the original. I ended ujp taking the safer option of fitting an external Rimmer Bros upgrade box that fits inline with the MAP sensor and the injector pump connectors. It made a massive difference and I have never regretted it.

its a box that conects to the ecu connecter harness, havent fitted it yet as not sure hw to set it up
