I've done a search and the places to locate these are pretty limited. I have a set mounted in the load area just behind the bulkhead but the sound is not good. I'm going to get a 6" set somewhere and mount them in the cab, probably in the lower dash. Has anyone any better ideas based on what's in yours and can advise before I proceed? Any suggestions on what to get would be appreciated also.

In the head lining right next to your ear! You just need to find some shallow ones, as there is not much depth between the headlinign and the roof.

I have a set of small surround speakers mounted on brackets just above/behind our heads and a set of small auto speakers either side of the stereo - sounds great, and almost loud enough to overcome the sound of the 200tdi!

I had a pair in the lower dash, which isn't ideal as the space behind the passenger side one is limited by the wiper motor. The space between the tub bulkhead and door pillar would work alright I reckon, as would hanging some off the headlining. I also fitted a pair in the back using the plastic speaker mounts from a later 90- you can get these from mudstuff. They're intended for the stepped wheelarches of the puma model but you can soon fix this by cutting them straight- then they fit right in.

IVe got mine in a roof shelf I built to be honest I now use a large blue tooth speaker (UE boom 2) that fits in the coffee cup holder. Haven’t used the main speakers in a year

That's a good shout. I will have a look at Bluetooth speakers. Cheers

I built a shelf that sat just below the headlining fit two 10"speakers worked rather well, also added some overhead storage in the back.

Positioned roughly where the front snd rear headlinings meet

Biggest you can get in the dash are 13cm. Fit some with external tweeters and the sound will be much better. Tweeters can be neatly mounted in the soft dash, just need the right size hole cutter.
