Bought my 265/70/16's for my TD5 DII, set of 5. So one not so handy thing about the tyre size is that now the spare wheel fouls the rear bumper. I'm guessing that the solution for that is one of:

1) Take the bumper off (it will look horrid, no doubt)

2) Buy something like this: Devon 4x4 Off Road - D44 Discovery 2 HD rear bumper : D44D2REARBUMP : Off Road Equipment from Devon 4x4

3) Buy something like this: Devon 4x4 Off Road - D44 Discovery 2 Oversized Wheel Carrier : D44D2WHEELCARRIE : Off Road Equipment from Devon 4x4

Any other ideas?

The other thing is now my spare wheel cover doesn't fit. So I need a new one. Ideas on where I'd find a reasonably priced on that would fit the tyre now sitting on the back of the car?

I also discovered that I don't have any security on the spare wheel. no doubt that will go walkies if I leave it as it is. Ideas on a solution for this? I don't want to have to buy a set of locking wheel nuts when i just need the one...

Ta,

Ben

i just inverted my standard carrier & you can buy one locking nut from dealer with the code from the security card
only prob with the D44 bumper is that you have to cut the rear quarter bottoms off for it to look right
