300 TDI Truck cab defender is the motor! Any ideas on a a mount for the spare wheel? Last owner has chequer plated over the bonnet mount still a sodden great lever underneath which i assume was the release mechanism for the original, i cannot use the mounting plate behind the cab as the cover gets in the way! have a drop down tailgate and cannot use a swing away! what else is left?? thought about a roof rack put seems a hell of a lot of hassle!!!! Ideas would be great Please!!!!!!!:confused:
 
made mine and it fits to the tailgate

That's the one I had on the 90 but square tube. It bolts to cross member and rear tub to the right of the door/tailgate. it needs to be opened manually by lifting a small lever and swinging it open. Before you can open the door/drop tailgate.
