Has anybody fitted one of these Spare Wheel Aerial Mount brackets to their Freelander ?

And if so, I would be interested to learn how you ran your aerial cable into the vehicle i.e Just through the window, trapped in the door or ideally through the same hole/grommit that the windscreen wiper cable uses to enter the boot space...

Also, with this type of bracket fitted, does the spare wheel still sit securely etc.

Any thoughts, much appreciated...

Hi mstaines

Just a though, i don't have one fitted but had a look at it.

I'm sure your spare wheel will fit securely, it seems pretty solid and your
spare wheel does go on tight so no problem there. :)

looks a ok bit of kit that , wouldnt pay anymore than £20.00 for it tho.

you could fashion one to the back of yours using the rear roof rale hoop bars bolts near the back door. a bit of 5mm angle use one of the 10mm spare torx bolts.
